DevOps Engineering Manager

What you will do

• Lead the Platform & Cloud Operations domain across four teams and 17 engineers.
• Own delivery timelines, scope trade-offs, ways of working, workload, capacity, and resource allocation.
• Oversee CI systems, development environments, cloud automation, release and upgrade pipelines, and internal engineering tools.
• Be accountable for domain architecture, technical debt strategy, release readiness, and the authority to block releases when quality risks warrant it.
• Own incident management, on-call practices, post-release quality analysis, and the operational health of the customer cloud.
• Manage, mentor, and develop Team Leads and engineers, including hiring, performance management, onboarding, and succession planning.

Requirements

• Experience managing software engineering teams through Team Leads.
• Strong engineering background in platform, infrastructure, or cloud operations, including CI/CD systems, infrastructure as code, cloud architecture, observability, and release engineering.
• Experience operating production infrastructure under availability commitments, including incident management, on-call practices, and post-incident follow-through.
• Experience driving delivery, engineering quality, and organizational effectiveness across multiple teams.
• Experience partnering with Product, Architecture, and cross-functional stakeholders, with strong communication, mentoring, and people management skills.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English level required.

• Experience with large-scale customer upgrades or migrations in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
• Experience building internal developer platforms.
• Working knowledge of .NET.
• Experience with AI-powered products or AI-assisted engineering workflows.
