The objective of this engagement is to optimize and standardize the existing GitHub Actions-based CI/CD environment used for mobile application delivery. The focus is on improving scalability, reliability, maintainability, monitoring, and automation capabilities across the mobile development landscape. In addition, the client aims to introduce intelligent build-log analysis and evaluate AI-assisted approaches for issue detection and remediation recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize existing GitHub Actions workflows, reusable workflows, templates, and build pipelines
• Design and implement standardized CI/CD workflow templates
• Improve build, test, and deployment processes for mobile applications
• Enhance macOS-based runner infrastructure used for GitHub Actions
• Develop monitoring and observability concepts for CI/CD pipelines
• Design and prototype automated build log analysis solutions
• Evaluate AI-assisted approaches for issue detection, log analysis, anomaly detection, and remediation recommendations
• Create technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders and participate in agile delivery cycles

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, reusable workflows, workflow templates, and CI/CD automation
• Proven experience designing and operating enterprise CI/CD platforms
• Strong knowledge of Git, repository management, and branching strategies
• Experience with mobile application environments, including: iOS, Android, Cross-platform technologies (e.g. KMP)
• Experience with macOS-based build infrastructures
• Knowledge of self-hosted and/or cloud-hosted runners
• Advanced Bash scripting skills
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities within build, test, and deployment pipelines
• Experience with monitoring, observability, logging, and automation solutions
• Knowledge of software quality assurance, automated testing, and release management
• Experience with artifact management, dependency management, and mobile application distribution processes
• Strong understanding of CI/CD security best practices, including secrets, credentials, and access management
