Engineering Manager, DevOps

What you will do

• Build, manage, mentor, hire, and onboard a globally distributed engineering team.
• Guide technical delivery and provide architectural direction across frontend and backend disciplines.
• Partner with product management, product design, engineering, and infrastructure stakeholders on technical direction and roadmaps.
• Improve agile, remote, and asynchronous workflows, delivery cadence, accountability, and backlog execution.
• Support career development through one-on-ones, coaching, feedback, and skill development.
• Monitor operational health, system availability, reliability, and incident management needs.

Requirements

• Experience managing engineering teams and providing architectural guidance and technical mentorship.
• Background in enterprise software development, distributed systems, and software delivery pipelines.
• Experience aligning product, design, engineering, and infrastructure stakeholders on technical decisions.
• Experience establishing engineering processes and managing delivery in ambiguous or fast-changing situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in remote-first, asynchronous, and globally distributed environments.
• Experience using AI-assisted tools and modern software workflows to improve team velocity and efficiency.
