Freelance Ecommerce Trading Lead

Location: Remote, with locations listed as Greater London, London, and Brighton

Salary: £350–£450 per day

hirify.global is recruiting for a premium fashion and lifestyle ecommerce assignment.

What you will do

• Own ecommerce revenue, margin, inventory targets, and wider P&L performance.
• Build weekly, monthly, and seasonal trading plans based on performance trends.
• Lead digital merchandising across navigation, product ranking, search, launches, and seasonal changes.
• Manage online product catalogues, including uploads, taxonomy, product data, and content quality.
• Analyze conversion, average order value, units per transaction, stock cover, and product performance.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in ecommerce trading, merchandising, or buying.
• Fashion, premium retail, or lifestyle experience with strong commercial understanding.
• Experience managing a substantial P&L, ideally £5 million or more.
• Advanced Excel and ecommerce analytics skills.
• Hands-on knowledge of PIM, DAM, catalogue management, and inventory planning systems.
