Senior Project Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead CAPEX projects covering equipment upgrades, process improvements, facility expansions, and infrastructure developments.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from scope definition and feasibility through design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and close-out.
• Develop schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk controls, and regular project reports for site leadership and stakeholders.
• Act as technical lead, reviewing engineering designs, specifications, contractor deliverables, and project documentation.
• Manage consultants, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams, including FAT, SAT, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Drive safety, food safety, compliance, reliability, energy efficiency, Lean, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Chemical, Manufacturing, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• At least 8 years of engineering experience in food manufacturing, beverage, dairy, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or another regulated industrial environment.
• Track record of delivering CAPEX projects valued from €100k to €10M+.
• Strong project management, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, engineering, and Health & Safety knowledge.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience with utilities such as steam, refrigeration, compressed air, water treatment, and energy systems; knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, SAP, CMMS, or similar systems.
