Location: Hybrid setup based at the European Headquarters in Oegstgeest, Netherlands

What you will do

• Formulate, document, and execute multi-year global sourcing strategies for critical paper sub-segments.
• Lead end-to-end RFx tendering processes and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Develop strategic supplier partnerships, resolve supply chain challenges, mitigate geopolitical risks, and optimize Best Cost Country sourcing.
• Lead the global paper procurement community and align regional Procurement teams across a global matrix organization.
• Manage AOP forecasting, cost modeling, and index management while supporting procurement transformation.
• Ensure compliance with sustainability requirements, including EUDR and PPWR.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or category management with accountability for material cost results.
• 5+ years of managerial or leadership experience in a complex global matrix organization.
• Deep expertise in global category strategies, competitive tenders, vendor selection, and should-cost models.
• Excellent English communication, presentation, written, and oral skills.
• Paper category expertise is advantageous; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
