Senior Product Manager - Data and AI Platform (AI/statistical systems): Owning algorithmic systems such as ranking, deduplication, and causal inference for downstream product features with an accent on statistically rigorous product requirements and model evaluation. Focus on defining evaluation criteria, weighing precision/recall, false-positive cost, explainability, and accuracy, and leading cross-functional teams toward measurable system-health goals.
Location: US Remote
Salary: $147,600–$221,400 annually in Zone 1, or $137,900–$206,900 annually in Zone 2, depending on US location. Additional compensation includes an annual bonus and equity.

What you will do
- Define and own the roadmap for high-priority algorithmic systems, including ranking, deduplication, and causal inference.
- Translate customer problems such as bad matches, untrusted rankings, and incorrect conclusions into statistically rigorous product requirements.
- Co-author PRDs and define evaluation criteria for statistically ambiguous problems.
- Partner with ML and engineering teams to evaluate precision, recall, false-positive cost, explainability, and accuracy tradeoffs.
- Set multi-quarter goals for algorithmic system health and lead cross-functional teams toward them.
- Lead discovery with domain product teams and customers, and resolve disagreements over methodology, ownership, and model quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience with a strong enterprise B2B SaaS track record.
- Experience with at least one of ranking or recommendation systems, entity resolution, or causal inference.
- Strong statistical fluency, including precision/recall tradeoffs, confounding versus causation, and model evaluation.
- Ability to define evaluation criteria and establish what correct looks like for new statistical problems.
- Experience translating customer-reported problems into statistically defined product work.
- Strong communication skills for explaining model tradeoffs to product, ML, engineering, and customer audiences.
