Senior Business Systems Specialist (NetSuite)

Location: New York, New York, United States; in-office attendance required 4–5 days per week.

Salary: $160,000–$170,000 USD annual base compensation, plus equity.

What you will do

• Serve as the functional and technical NetSuite subject-matter expert for system architecture, financial data integrity, and best practices.
• Build and maintain integrations between NetSuite, Coupa, retail partners, marketplace platforms, and other business systems.
• Own order-to-cash systems architecture for retail and marketplace channels.
• Develop dashboards, saved searches, custom reports, workflows, and automations using NetSuite and BI tools such as Looker and Sigma.
• Partner with engineering, accounting, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders on implementations, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Create documentation and training materials and lead enablement sessions for finance, operations, and business users.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience operating and maintaining financial tools and integrating NetSuite with third-party systems.
• Hands-on experience with SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, saved searches, custom records, forms, and workflows.
• Experience building and maintaining REST and SOAP API integrations, including authentication, error handling, and data mapping.
• Knowledge of EDI standards, retailer marketplace integrations, data structures, schema design, and SQL-based data validation.
• Experience with version control and scripting in JavaScript or Python for automation and integration support.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and technical documentation skills.
