Accounts Assistant

Location: Central London, United Kingdom; hybrid with 3 days in the office

Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable end to end across two trading entities.
• Process approximately 100–150 AP invoices and up to 200 AR invoices per month, including review, approval, matching, posting, and client billing.
• Own the finance mailbox and manage invoice queries, adjustments, and responses.
• Set up approval matrices and improve finance processes through automation.
• Support bank and balance sheet reconciliations, cash book entries, revenue recognition, and event-based cost bucketing.
• Support multinational tax checks and financial controls while working with Sage Intacct and Salesforce.

Requirements

• Approximately 3–4 years of experience in a broad finance or accounts role.
• Experience managing accounts payable and/or accounts receivable processes.
• Strong attention to detail and experience with reconciliations.
• Confidence working with finance systems and ERP platforms.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with 3 days per week in the Central London office.

• Experience with Sage Intacct.
• Interest in automation, AI, and improving finance processes.
