Senior Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage security controls across identity, endpoints, networks, cloud platforms, email, applications, data, and manufacturing environments.
• Embed security by design into projects, architecture reviews, system integrations, and technology changes.
• Conduct security architecture reviews, risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and third-party security assessments.
• Develop secure configuration standards, technical documentation, and implementation guidance while driving vulnerability remediation.
• Support security operations through detection improvements, incident response enhancements, testing, and control optimization.
• Build secure automations and integrations using APIs, scripting, orchestration, workflow tools, and responsible AI practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, cloud security, infrastructure security, systems engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of security controls across identity, endpoints, networks, cloud platforms, applications, operating systems, and data protection.
• Experience with security assessments, vulnerability management, remediation programs, risk-based decision-making, and platforms such as EDR, PAM, and SIEM.
• Practical understanding of AI security risks, secure AI adoption, output validation, prompt injection, data leakage, excessive access, and insecure integrations.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Nice to have

• Experience in global manufacturing or industrial environments, including OT/IT security.
• Experience with Microsoft security technologies such as Entra ID, Defender, Intune, or Purview.
• Knowledge of cloud security, Zero Trust, vulnerability management, third-party risk, and secure software development.
• Scripting and automation experience with PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, or workflow and orchestration platforms.
