Senior Vulnerability Management Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $100,631–$167,787 per year

What you will do

• Execute and mature the enterprise Vulnerability Management program across hirify.global and its subsidiaries.
• Manage vulnerability scanning platforms and troubleshoot technical or functional issues affecting platform operations.
• Lead policies, procedures, remediation tracking, risk escalation, and enterprise-level improvement initiatives.
• Assess vulnerability impacts and implement mitigating controls with infrastructure, cloud, engineering, application, security, and vendor teams.
• Manage cloud security posture policies and automated scanning of cloud resources, containers, and serverless functions.
• Develop vulnerability management KPIs, metrics, and trend reporting while promoting security best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of practical information security experience in a large enterprise environment.
• 5+ years of vulnerability management experience with tools such as Qualys, InsightVM/Rapid7, Wiz, or Nessus.
• Experience with vulnerability identification, analysis, reporting, remediation, exploitation techniques, and compensating controls.
• Advanced knowledge of major cloud platforms, cloud resources, and common cloud misconfigurations and vulnerabilities.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across organizational levels.
• Must have valid U.S. work authorization that does not require employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information security, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud security posture management tools such as Wiz, XPanse, Prisma, Lacework, or Orca.
• Experience in financial services, technology, or another regulated industry.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
