Field Service Engineer (Recycling)

Location: Based in Southern or Central Poland, preferably near Katowice, Kraków, Wrocław, Łódź, or Warsaw; field service travel is required, predominantly in Germany and Europe.

Salary: 100,000–150,000 PLN gross per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

What you will do

• Install, commission, operate, test, integrate, optimize, maintain, and repair recycling sorting systems in the field.
• Troubleshoot equipment and customer issues and provide on-call technical phone support and field response.
• Prepare detailed field reports and manage timely reporting of activities, costs, and interventions.
• Train customer maintenance and service personnel as well as service engineers.
• Support Sales and Project Management while ensuring system performance, customer satisfaction, cost efficiency, and timely service delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent technical qualification with relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in field service, maintenance, technical support, or industrial service.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical issues independently.
• Fluent Polish and good written and spoken English.
• Strong communication, organization, customer-service, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel and a valid Category B driver's license.
