Cybersecurity Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across endpoints, identity, cloud, networks, and applications.
• Audit IT and engineering configurations against security baselines and provide guidance to close identified gaps.
• Protect identities and access through strong authentication, least privilege, and privileged access controls.
• Investigate security alerts using logs and telemetry, determine root causes, and coordinate remediation.
• Develop secure configuration baselines, engineering standards, technical documentation, and operational runbooks.
• Automate security checks, administrative tasks, incident response workflows, and security-tool integrations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent certifications and hands-on experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience in Information Security or Security Engineering with ownership of production security controls.
• Hands-on experience implementing controls in at least one area: endpoint, identity, cloud, network, or application security.
• Experience with technical audits, CIS Benchmarks, security baselines, log analysis, and security telemetry.
• Basic to intermediate scripting skills in PowerShell or Python.
• Fluent English is required. German is a plus.

Nice to have

• Specialist experience in cloud security, Microsoft endpoint and identity security, SASE, network segmentation, or application security.
• OSCP, GIAC, CISSP, SC-200, AZ-500, or similar certifications.
• Experience applying NIST or ISO 27001 frameworks.
