System Engineer - Platform Integration (AI Server)

What you will do

• Integrate the Secure AI engine into high-performance computing and AI server platforms.
• Implement firmware communication with peripherals through SPI, I2C, SGPIO, LTPI, PCIe, and related protocols.
• Develop and maintain BMC software for system monitoring, event logging, WebUI, and platform functionality.
• Support NVIDIA-, Intel-, and AMD-based systems and troubleshoot complex platform integration issues.
• Provide technical guidance and day-to-day support to customers during platform integration.
• Implement secure boot and platform root-of-trust mechanisms to maintain system security.

Requirements

• 10+ years of firmware engineering experience focused on embedded systems and platform integration.
• Proficiency in C, C++, assembly language, shell scripting, and Python.
• Deep knowledge of Linux internals, including kernel architecture, applications, and IPC.
• Expertise with I2C, I3C, GPIO, USB, LTPI, SGPIO, UART, MCTP, eSPI, and SSIF.
• Experience porting BMC solutions to custom hardware and working with microcontrollers, FPGAs, and ARM architectures.
• Knowledge of bare-metal programming, firmware architecture, and security implementations.

Nice to have

• End-to-end server bring-up and architectural development of high-performance AI server platforms.
• Experience customizing and integrating the OpenBMC stack.
