What you will do

• Administer and maintain Windows Server, Linux virtual machines, and core infrastructure systems.
• Operate, monitor, patch, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot VMware/vSphere infrastructure.
• Support virtualization transition activities, including Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Manage cloud and on-premises networking, VPN technologies, firewall configuration, and connectivity operations.
• Participate in production support, incident response, troubleshooting, operational recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, change records, task comments, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, network administration, or a similar hands-on role.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, VMware/vSphere operations, and Linux virtual machines.
• Strong networking fundamentals, including firewall configuration, switch administration, routing, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with production patching, maintenance, change execution, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Strong written communication for status updates, technical notes, task comments, and operating documentation.
• Ability to collaborate constructively with DBA, DevOps, Engineering, Security, and Support teams.

Nice to have

• Ubuntu/Linux administration experience and basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 or similar security and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with Cisco Meraki or equivalent VPN solutions.
• Experience with audit support, vulnerability remediation, infrastructure security controls, or Microsoft Hyper-V.
