Supply Chain Resource Coordinator (Mining)

What you will do

• Determine promised supply dates and validate that materials will meet required task dates.
• Collate materials and tools for work packages and arrange their delivery to the required workplace before tasks begin.
• Check delivered materials, tools, and services against task specifications.
• Track deliveries, escalate delays, and expedite supplies in coordination with the expediting team.
• Change suppliers when necessary and use appropriate buying structures to meet delivery requirements.
• Prepare daily logistics plans, schedule bins, update bin registers, and manage the return of unused goods to stock or suppliers.

Requirements

• Grade 12 and a tertiary qualification in Logistics, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or Transport.
• At least 3 years of supply chain experience in mining or the process industry.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, or materials management.
• Computer and systems skills, including SAP or ERP systems, MS Excel, Power BI, and maintenance management systems.
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain systems.

Nice to have

• B-Tech or Advanced Diploma in Engineering.
• Warehouse experience.
