Associate Product Manager (APM) Intern - Summer 2027 (Fintech)

Location: US - Foster City, California; hybrid position with office attendance confirmed by the hiring manager. The role requires travel 5–10% of the time and is performed in an office setting.

Salary: $46–$55 USD per hour for U.S. applicants.

What you will do

• Support product strategy, customer problem statements, and business cases.
• Assist with product roadmaps, requirements documentation, and prioritization.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and user needs to inform product decisions.
• Partner with designers and engineers to ideate, build, test, and iterate on product concepts.
• Support product launches, adoption, and go-to-market activities with Product Marketing and regional teams.
• Present project outcomes and learnings to Product leadership.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States; hirify.global will not sponsor work hirify.globals for this position or consider future sponsorship.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Operations Management, Communications, a related design field, or a related discipline, with graduation expected between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly.
• Analytical, customer-focused, collaborative, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Nice to have

• Degree or experience in Product Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field.
• Internship or related work experience.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and product development practices.
• Technical fluency in programming, data analysis, business case modeling, pricing, or design.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and experience building productive relationships.
