Simulator Technician I (Aviation Simulation)

Location: Seoul, South Korea; onsite role with rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, pre-flight and post-flight inspections, visual alignments, and housekeeping on flight simulators and associated systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve simulator issues using maintenance manuals, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation.
• Use the CMMS to record and track maintenance activities and execute automated Qualification Test Guides.
• Assist with simulator modifications, hardware upgrades, refurbishment projects, circuit-board repairs, and soldering.
• Support logistics activities, including receiving parts, repairs, testing, validation, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical support and customer service while complying with QMS procedures and completing required training.

Requirements

• Associate degree or two-year technical diploma in aircraft maintenance, avionics, electrical and electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, IT, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 0–4 years of relevant experience, including aircraft or flight-simulator maintenance and support.
• Basic knowledge of analog and digital electronics, electrical, electronic, computer, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read system diagrams, engineering drawings, schematics, maintenance manuals, and technical documentation.
• Experience operating test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and logic analyzers, plus proficiency in soldering and circuit-board repair.
• Fluency in English and Korean, including the ability to understand technical manuals, logbooks, and business emails in English; completion of mandatory military service or equivalent eligibility is required.
