Shift Supervisor (Medical Manufacturing)

Location: Suzhou, Jiangsu, China; onsite

What you will do

• Supervise shift operations, assign employees to appropriate positions, and ensure compliance with EHS, GMP, and company policies.
• Support production planning and drive achievement and improvement of production performance indicators.
• Coordinate quality activities, including customer complaint follow-up, routine inspections, document control, validation tracking, and cleanroom sanitization.
• Control raw materials, work-in-progress goods, and spare parts while reducing operational waste.
• Investigate incidents and nonconformities using 5 Whys, 8D, and Fishbone analysis, then implement preventive actions.
• Lead performance management, cross-training, employee development, Tier meetings, 6S, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of supervisory and leadership experience in frontline production management.
• College degree or above preferred.
• English reading and writing skills required for SOPs, validation documents, and other documentation.
• Proficiency with office software.
• Knowledge of the medical industry is an advantage.
