Customer Engineer III-IMP (Semiconductor)

Location: Shenzhen, China; on-site field service work with 20% travel

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor equipment.
• Apply diagnostic techniques and digital analytics to troubleshoot technical issues with support from senior engineers.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Collaborate with customers and senior engineers to understand process flows, requirements, roadmaps, and business challenges.
• Train and mentor junior field service engineers.
• Coordinate directly with customers to support reliable equipment operation.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor or equipment support industry.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, and/or thermodynamics.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools and digital multimeters, plus basic Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet all on-site safety, environmental, clean-room, and physical requirements; a valid driver’s license and passport eligibility may be required for travel.
