Level 2/3 IT Support / Infrastructure Technician (FIFO)

Location: Onsite FIFO at a mining site in Western Australia, Australia

Salary: AUD 60–80 per hour plus superannuation

What you will do

• Provide Level 2/3 technical support onsite in a FIFO mining environment.
• Troubleshoot desktop, hardware, networking, and wireless issues.
• Support servers and general IT infrastructure.
• Work across Cisco, Dell, UCS, Pure Storage, and wireless environments.
• Support users and operational teams at a remote mining site.
• Escalate complex technical issues when required.

Requirements

• Previous FIFO experience is essential.
• Strong Level 2/3 IT support experience.
• Broad knowledge of desktop, networking, communications, server, and infrastructure environments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Availability to work onsite at a FIFO mining site in Western Australia.

Nice to have

• Mining or remote-site experience.
• Experience with Cisco, Dell, UCS, Pure Storage, and wireless technologies.
• Operational technology experience.
