Quality Specialist- 2nd and 3rd Shift-East Peoria Bldg KK

Location: East Peoria, Illinois, United States; onsite at Building KK. Second- and third-shift work is required, and no relocation is offered.

Salary: $26.66–$28.50 per hour, plus a $1.00 night-shift premium.

What you will do

• Perform inspections at BIQ quality gates using approved methods, gauges, and checklists.
• Identify, document, and communicate product defects and nonconformances.
• Contain defective material and prevent it from reaching the next operation or customer.
• Record defect information, inspection results, and descriptions in quality systems.
• Support Stop Capability, Problem Description, Sorting, Feedback, and Problem Solving processes.
• Use precision measurement equipment and follow safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Previous operations experience.
• Ability to work variable shifts and flexible hours in frequently changing temperatures.
• Ability to walk, squat, and bend for periods of time.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, documentation, safety, and quality skills.
• Ability to read engineering prints and specifications and use inspection tools is preferred.
