Quality Engineering Intern

Location: Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite in a manufacturing or production environment

Pay range: $18.00–$37.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support the Quality Department across manufacturing operations.
• Review and update quality documentation and maintain company records.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to correct and prevent quality issues.
• Assist with problem solving, nonconformance response, defective material disposition, and quality-related improvements.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and support supplier quality and process control.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, suppliers, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Ability to proactively complete assigned tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment involving noise, dust, moving machinery, temperature fluctuations, extended standing, repetitive motions, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Personal protective equipment must be worn when required.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Creo.
