Quality Control Inspector 1st Shift (M-Th 5am-3:30pm)

Location: Gainesville, Georgia, United States; onsite, 1st shift Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Inspect finished products, in-process products, incoming materials, parts, and assemblies for conformance with company standards.
• Check randomly selected samples and verify the accuracy of equipment and processes.
• Conduct product, process, and layered process audits.
• Report conditions requiring immediate repair and identify unsafe work-area conditions.
• Maintain inspection records and prepare reports on inspection results.
• Obtain samples for laboratory analysis and determine corrective measures for deviations from standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of experience in quality and/or inventory.
• Previous experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Strong data-entry, organization, problem-solving, and independent-working skills.
• Intermediate Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel skills; experience with Oracle, SAP, or another database management system.
• Ability to use powered hand tools, operate a forklift, and test raw materials or finished products using standard measurement methods.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work around machinery, vehicles, hazardous waste, varying temperatures, noise, and uneven surfaces; lift up to 50 pounds.
