Senior Professional Services Engineer (AML)

Location: Singapore, Singapore; hybrid model with 2 days in the office and 3 days working remotely each week

What you will do

• Implement AML and financial crime technology solutions for customer delivery projects.
• Develop, configure, and support custom components using Java, JavaScript, SQL, scripting, and API integrations.
• Design and implement integrations with customer systems, internal platforms, and third-party services.
• Support deployment, troubleshooting, and operational readiness across on-premises, cloud, and container-based environments.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, product teams, and project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders from sales handover through implementation, while contributing to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 8+ years of solution implementation experience in financial services, such as banking, brokerage, or insurance.
• Professional Services, technology delivery, or enterprise software implementation experience.
• Confident communication skills in English are required.
• Strong custom development experience, preferably with Java, plus JavaScript, scripting, and API-based integrations.
• Strong SQL experience with MSSQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL for implementation, troubleshooting, data analysis, and performance tuning.
• Ability to translate functional and business requirements into technical specifications and implementation tasks.

• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, YAML manifests, GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD practices.
• Exposure to application servers, web servers, Unix environments, and command-line operations.
• Interest in AI-enabled delivery automation and implementation-efficiency tools.
