Senior Full Stack Engineer (PHP/Laravel)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid model with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote

Sateliot is a Barcelona-based satellite company building a constellation that enables standard commercial devices to communicate directly from space.

What you will do

• Design and deliver full-stack features from technical design through Laravel/PHP and Python APIs to React and Angular interfaces.
• Build reliable tools and dashboards that integrate data from the Core Network and IT Platform.
• Define technical architecture, document trade-offs, and manage pragmatic technical debt.
• Maintain unit testing, SonarQube code quality, code reviews, and maintainability standards.
• Operate production systems and collaborate with IT Platform on deployments.
• Mentor less experienced engineers through pairing, reviews, and design discussions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience delivering production software.
• Deep experience with PHP and Laravel, REST API design, relational databases, queue-based background processing, and Python 3 with Flask or Django.
• Modern frontend development experience with React and Angular.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, and Linux Ubuntu.
• Substantial daily experience using AI coding assistants such as Codex, Claude Code, or Cursor.
• Based in Barcelona and available for the hybrid schedule of 3 on-site days and 2 remote days.

Nice to have

• Experience with satellite, telecom, or IoT data.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK observability stacks.
