Field Service Technician I (Oilfield Equipment)

Location: Williston, North Dakota, United States. The role involves field work at customer locations and shop work when no field assignment is available.

Salary: $23.00–$30.75 per hour, with starting pay at $23.00 and possible adjustment based on experience. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

What you will do

• Install, remove, maintain, test, repair, rebuild, and troubleshoot frac, drilling, and surface control equipment.
• Perform equipment pre-checks and operate tools, materials, trucks, trailers, and site-specific equipment according to procedures.
• Prepare and support Job Safety Analyses and follow safety policies, location protocols, and Stop Work Authority requirements.
• Inspect equipment and recommend adjustments that improve quality and operational efficiency.
• Complete clear and accurate field service documentation and communicate with supervisors, colleagues, and customers.
• Provide 24-hour on-call support during scheduled rotations and work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn and apply technical equipment operation and maintenance.
• One to two years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Authorization to operate a company vehicle and a clean driving record.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to frequently stand, reach, and lift or move up to 50 pounds, with the required close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
• Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather, and moderate to severe noise while wearing required PPE.
