Project Manager (Power Plants)

Location: Beijing, China; onsite five days a week. Business travel is required.

hirify.global manufactures construction and mining equipment, engines, industrial gas turbines, and diesel-electric locomotives; the role supports MWM gas engine and genset projects through hirify.global Energy Solutions.

What you will do

• Manage gas power projects using professional project management techniques to deliver on time or ahead of schedule while controlling costs.
• Develop project timelines and milestones, manage budgets, allocate resources, and track implementation.
• Define technical boundaries and coordinate design institutes, subcontractors, installation companies, and EPC contractors.
• Coordinate commissioning to support timely customer payments and clarify technical and commercial terms with the factory and dealers.
• Integrate internal resources across sales, commercial, supply chain, production, application engineering, logistics, and finance.
• Support dealers with application and installation guidance and build their technical capabilities.

Requirements

• A college or university degree is mandatory; electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or combustion engine studies are preferred.
• Experience in EPC power projects, including tendering, technical liaison, vendor management, and site management.
• Project management experience in power plants is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Written and spoken English is required; CET-6 above or IELTS 6.5 or equivalent is expected.
• Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, maturity, self-motivation, and willingness to travel for business.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or an MBA.
• Experience with power plants exceeding 30 MW.
• Experience working in a multinational company.
