Project Manager (Construction)

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Salary: $85,000–$135,000 CAD annually

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver construction projects from execution planning through completion and closeout.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, milestones, quality, productivity, and contract requirements.
• Lead project teams that include Superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, clients, and field personnel.
• Coordinate workforce, subcontractor, equipment, and resource planning with project schedules.
• Manage budgets, cost forecasts, change orders, claims, and contract variations.
• Act as the primary client contact, resolve escalated concerns, and implement project risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5–10+ years of construction project management experience with responsibility for budgets, schedules, client relationships, and project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, contract administration, project controls, and safety management systems.
• Experience managing clients, consultants, subcontractors, and field teams, with demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills.
• Strong financial, commercial, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s licence with an acceptable driving record; commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Experience with contract management, change orders, and claims administration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
• PMP certification.
