Product Manager (Merchant Payments & Integrations)

hirify.global builds payments infrastructure that enables health and wellness merchants to accept tax-advantaged HSA/FSA funds for preventive care products and services.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end merchant experience from developer onboarding and API integration through first sale, payment operations, reconciliation, disputes, and merchant dashboards.
• Define the developer platform roadmap, including API design, documentation, sandbox environments, and integration tooling.
• Partner with engineering to design and ship Shopify, direct API, and emerging platform integrations.
• Translate merchant, sales, and support feedback into a prioritized product roadmap.
• Define merchant health metrics such as time to first sale, NRR, and merchant NPS, and instrument systems to track them.
• Coordinate sales, customer support, and engineering to support merchant launches and ongoing partner success.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in product management, solutions engineering, developer relations, or a technical customer-facing role.
• Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication patterns, error handling, and API documentation.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for merchants, executives, and engineering stakeholders.
• Experience thinking through reconciliation, reporting, dispute resolution, and merchant retention.
• Ability to ship meaningful initial product versions quickly and iterate based on learning.
• Comfort using LLMs for product work such as drafting specifications, analyzing feedback, and summarizing research.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure, including merchant acquiring, money movement, or reconciliation systems.
• Familiarity with the Shopify platform ecosystem, including apps, checkout extensions, and payment customizations.
• Experience working for a company selling to developers or technical buyers.
