Area Manager I - 2nd Shift; Bilingual (Warehouse Operations)

Location: CVG1 - Hebron, KY - 1200 Worldwide Blvd. Onsite, 2nd shift from 3:00p to 1:30a, with occasional overtime, evenings, and weekends as required.

What you will do

• Lead and develop warehouse associates and operations leads to achieve daily goals.
• Support inventory accuracy, warehouse bin accuracy, and inventory shrink control.
• Use workload planning tools and the Order Management System to complete scheduled workload and fulfill orders to required standards.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and operational variances.
• Address operational and personnel issues and collaborate with HR, Safety, Customer Service, and operations leaders.
• Implement process improvements and workload-efficiency mechanisms while operating relevant material handling equipment.

Requirements

• Two to four years of experience with WMS or inventory systems in a high-volume facility.
• Bilingual Spanish and English communication skills are required.
• Previous leadership experience and a bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
• Strong organization, time management, communication, interpersonal, and basic data-entry skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure, perform basic mathematical calculations, and transport up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a distribution center with varying heights and temperatures, moderate consistent noise, and material handling equipment such as forklifts.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, operations, supply chain/logistics, business administration, operations management, or a related field.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process improvement methods.
