Shift Supervisor (Warehouse Operations)

Location: American Falls, Idaho, USA (plant); onsite rotational 12-hour shifts from 7 a.m.–7 p.m. or 7 p.m.–7 a.m.

Salary: $64,900–$97,360 per year

What you will do

• Lead warehouse teams of up to 30 employees, including hiring, onboarding, training, mentoring, and development.
• Build a strong safety culture by reporting incidents and near misses, escalating concerns, completing training, and enforcing safe equipment operation.
• Plan shift labor using schedules, timekeeping systems, and forecasting tools to meet volume and cost targets.
• Monitor performance, paperwork errors, safety infractions, and G-force data, creating action plans and disciplinary documentation when needed.
• Coordinate with maintenance and inventory teams on equipment condition, building upkeep, cycle counts, and calibration programs.
• Support warehouse equipment training and participate in facility inspections and audits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate’s degree or technical qualification is preferred.
• At least three years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Experience building, leading, coaching, and mentoring teams; two years of leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, mathematical, and document-interpretation skills.
• Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and timekeeping systems; ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work different shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs or ladders, operate work-related equipment, and work in demanding warehouse conditions.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Two years of leadership experience.
• Bilingual English-Spanish communication skills.
