Location: Avon, Minnesota, United States; travel required up to 25%.

Salary: $61,220–$82,309 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

What you will do

• Plan, create, adjust, and expedite purchase orders based on field requisitions, project requirements, drawings, bills of materials, and inventory strategies.
• Track supplier deliveries, identify delays and supply risks, and communicate impacts to planners and project managers.
• Coordinate supplier communications, site access information, transportation, delivery requirements, and project tracking data.
• Analyze inventory parameters, including costs, lot sizes, reorder points, lead times, safety stock, and item classifications.
• Execute RFx activities, negotiate pricing and terms, and support sourcing and category strategies.
• Resolve quantity, quality, delivery, warranty, invoice, and supplier relationship issues while improving value, quality, and service.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of experience in purchasing, planning, or a related supply chain function.
• Knowledge of supplier sourcing strategies, terms and conditions, and relevant commodity markets.
• Strategic, analytical, organizational, negotiation, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple projects.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, with availability to travel up to 25%.
