What you will do

• Coordinate materials and shipment execution between suppliers and customers, ensuring accurate order processing and delivery commitments.
• Execute daily drop-ship purchasing activities driven by sales-order demand and real-time demand signals.
• Review requisitions, place purchase orders with approved suppliers, and manage sourcing and exception purchases.
• Expedite orders, monitor supply risks, and follow up on supplier delivery, quality, and service performance.
• Participate in negotiations covering pricing, lead times, and service levels.
• Maintain ERP data in Oracle or SAP and resolve supplier delays, discrepancies, and service failures.

Requirements

• Associate's degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Up to 2 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain, or procurement in a demand-driven environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings for component parts.
• Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple functions in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in distribution, spare parts, or MRO environments.
• Familiarity with min/max, reorder point, and safety stock replenishment models.
• Exposure to Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with Oracle ERP or Baxter planning system.
