Salary: $82,560–$103,200 per year

What you will do

• Place and revise purchase orders to maintain inventory availability and accurate supplier delivery dates.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials, components, equipment, and services arrive on time and meet quality standards.
• Expedite critical purchase items and communicate delivery deviations affecting production.
• Partner with Engineering to resolve supplier technical issues involving engineering information.
• Manage nonconforming material replacements, surplus returns, order cancellations, and related vendor adjustments.
• Publish vendor on-time performance metrics and track root-cause and corrective-action progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent purchasing or operations experience.
• Experience with cross-category purchasing, including machined and fabricated parts, cable assemblies, and electronics.
• Strong business judgment, basic mathematical skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, sorting, and formula development.
• Experience with Kanban inventories and enterprise inventory planning, product lifecycle, supply chain intelligence, and collaboration software such as SAP, IFS, Agile, PDM, or SharePoint.
• Proficiency with AI chatbots such as Microsoft Copilot.
