Principal Data Analyst (Gaming)

What you will do

• Define and drive telemetry systems strategy during game production to support advanced player behaviour analysis.
• Design innovative and scalable analytical solutions for complex game development and business challenges.
• Prototype advanced dashboards, reports, and data storytelling practices.
• Promote a data-informed studio culture through clear, documented player insights.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Balance experimentation, analytical rigor, velocity, accuracy, and quality when solving high-stakes problems.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of experience in data analysis, including proven experience in the gaming industry on a GaaS game.
• Deep expertise in advanced analytics and statistical modeling or equivalent approaches.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL skills for processing large datasets.
• Programming experience with Python and/or R for analysis, modeling, and advanced reporting.
• Advanced data visualization experience with Tableau, Excel, and other visualization tools; Power BI is an asset.
• Experience with Snowflake and DBT; AWS is an asset, along with strong autonomy, organization, and communication skills.
