Systems Engineer 4 (Linux/Ansible/NiFi/Kubernetes)

Annual salary: $130,000–$270,000, depending on years of experience

What you will do

• Develop designs for installing components and assemblies in chassis, racks, cabinets, workstations, customer facilities, and shelters.
• Plan, review, and coordinate project documentation against customer contract and company requirements.
• Prepare specifications, evaluate vendors, and analyze test reports.
• Define functional requirements and specifications for hardware acquisitions.
• Analyze hardware and system requirements to document practical designs that meet user needs.
• Develop installation schedules and conduct site surveys covering network configurations and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• At least 10 years of systems engineering experience.
• Advanced Linux and NSYS-level troubleshooting experience, automated testing, scripting, collection systems, and tiered mission support experience.
• Experience creating Ansible scripts and working with containers.

Nice to have

• FORNSAT and collection-environment experience.
• TLS and server certificate installation, management, and troubleshooting.
• RF installation or modem experience.
• NiFi operational support and administrative experience.
• Kubernetes experience.
