Salary: $58,300–$87,500 base salary per year, plus eligible bonus, commission, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Purify proteins using column chromatography and filtration techniques.
• Perform functional and physical assays to evaluate protein purity and stability.
• Generate biological buffer systems and formulate protein solutions for enzyme products.
• Maintain development enzyme and buffer inventories and accurately document experiments.
• Optimize and stress-test process designs, troubleshoot results, and contribute to reports.
• Analyze, summarize, and present results to support design decisions and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field, or an Associate’s degree with 1–2 years of laboratory experience.
• Experience or familiarity with protein and nucleic acid analysis using SDS-PAGE, agarose gel electrophoresis, UV/Vis spectroscopy, or fluorescence-based assays.
• Ability to calculate molarities and prepare biological buffers.
• Strong written and oral communication, organizational, time-management, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Comfort working with ambiguity in a fast-paced, collaborative laboratory environment.
