Market Access Consultant (Healthcare)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Hybrid work combines working from home with on-site presence at client and hirify.global offices for most of the week. Client-facing work requires travel as needed.

What you will do

• Partner with clients on market access, pricing, reimbursement, commercialization, and growth strategy challenges.
• Analyze healthcare, claims, market research, customer, and other structured and unstructured datasets.
• Develop data-driven recommendations using market dynamics, customer behavior, stakeholder needs, and business context.
• Evaluate market opportunities, access barriers, competitive landscapes, and commercial performance.
• Build financial models, scenario analyses, forecasts, and decision-support tools.
• Present findings through executive-ready presentations, manage project workstreams, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• MBA with a bachelor's or graduate degree in a quantitative discipline, or a relevant PhD; 5–8 years of relevant experience may substitute for an MBA or PhD.
• Up to 3 years of post-MBA experience and 3–5 years of pre-MBA experience, with strong analytical work using tools such as R, SAS, Tableau, or VBA.
• Experience or interest in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, market access, commercialization, pricing, payer strategy, customer insights, or healthcare consulting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, research, communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills.
• Fluency in English and authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship are required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and travel as required for client-facing work.
