Senior Manager, Software Engineering (AI/ML)

Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States; Bellevue Skyline Office

Salary: $132,000–$264,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems in line with strategic priorities and roadmap milestones.
• Oversee shared infrastructure, tooling, and reusable frameworks for scalable and secure development.
• Drive the full software development lifecycle across multiple teams and promote DevOps and continuous improvement.
• Optimize cloud costs and improve automation, telemetry, and operational tooling.
• Guide architectural decisions, technical quality, compliance, and delivery of complex initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with product, business, UX, data, and engineering stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related field and 5 years of software engineering experience, or 7 years of related experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience leading platform engineering initiatives and developing software and AI/ML systems.
• Expertise in software development lifecycle management, DevOps architecture, CI/CD, and cloud cost optimization.
• Strong technical judgment, architectural decision-making, stakeholder management, project management, milestone tracking, and capacity planning skills.
• Commitment to mentoring engineers and fostering continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant computer science or software engineering field.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
