Floor Trader

Location: Chicago, with work on the Cboe trading floor and hirify.global trading desk

Salary: $200,000 annual base salary, plus an eligible discretionary annual bonus

What you will do

• Complete comprehensive training across hirify.global’s products, markets, and trading approach.
• Work across the Cboe trading floor and hirify.global’s trading desk, gaining experience in floor-based and voice trading.
• Analyze order flow, trading activity, and broker behavior to identify patterns and trading opportunities.
• Develop and enhance tools, models, algorithms, and systems for trading analysis, visualization, and risk management.
• Collaborate with traders and engineering teams to define requirements and build trading tools.
• Monitor markets, research opportunities, and gradually take ownership of trading decisions and risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
• Expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Genuine interest in financial markets and a desire to build a career in trading.
• Ability to make thoughtful decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with traders, brokers, and market participants.
• Collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to learn from feedback.

Nice to have

• Prior trading or financial-markets experience.
• Proficiency in Python.
