Trading Infrastructure and Risk, Currency Forward Specialist Co-op (FX)

Location: Boston, MA, United States; hybrid schedule with office work four days per week and remote work one day per week.

Salary: $19–$35 per hour

What you will do

• Support domestic and international post-execution trade activities within Investment Operations.
• Coordinate with FX brokers, traders, sales assistants, and custodians to ensure timely and accurate foreign exchange cash payments.
• Monitor FX trade activity and ensure eligible trades are matched through Continuous Linked Settlement.
• Resolve foreign exchange settlement issues and post-trade discrepancies with custodians and brokers.
• Review physical mail weekly and contribute to ad hoc projects that improve daily processes.

Requirements

• Only Northeastern University students are eligible for this co-op program.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
