Senior Technical Recruiter (AI)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; hybrid work with three days per week onsite at the Sunnyvale headquarters

Base salary: $128,000–$174,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruitment for technical roles across AI/ML, software, embedded systems, cloud, and related areas.
• Lead intake and calibration sessions and translate business and technical needs into candidate profiles, sourcing strategies, assessment criteria, and recruiting plans.
• Advise engineering leaders using market insights, pipeline data, candidate feedback, and recruiting metrics.
• Develop multi-channel sourcing strategies and build pipelines of passive technical talent.
• Assess candidates against technical experience, scope, complexity, ownership, impact, communication, and motivation criteria.
• Maintain accurate Greenhouse data, identify pipeline bottlenecks, forecast outcomes, and improve recruiting processes with AI.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in startup or high-growth technology environments.
• Experience leading complex engineering searches and recruiting across software, embedded systems, cloud, or AI/ML.
• Ability to advise engineering leaders, influence hiring decisions, challenge assumptions, and provide data- and market-driven recommendations.
• Strong technical curiosity and AI fluency, with the ability to understand complex technical domains and engage credibly with candidates and engineering stakeholders.
• Experience using recruiting metrics and funnel data to evaluate pipeline health, identify bottlenecks, and forecast outcomes.
• Ability to work onsite at the Sunnyvale headquarters three days per week.
