Ultrasound Technician (Gynecology)

Location: Onsite in Playa Vista and West Hollywood, California. Schedule: Playa Vista Monday and Tuesday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; West Hollywood Wednesday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Salary: $36–$48 per hour, plus a quarterly performance bonus with a 10% target.

What you will do

• Perform high-quality gynecologic ultrasound exams with a focus on patient comfort and clinical excellence.
• Review clinical indications and collaborate with ordering providers on appropriate imaging.
• Maintain accurate documentation, patient tracking, follow-up, and billing support.
• Submit comprehensive studies to radiologists and coordinate the return of results to ordering providers.
• Support PACS, teleradiology coordination, ultrasound workflows, and equipment maintenance.
• Educate patients and contribute ultrasound expertise to an interdisciplinary care team.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of clinical ultrasound experience, including at least 1 year in OB/GYN, gynecology, or women’s health.
• Excellent pelvic and gynecologic ultrasound scanning skills and the ability to recognize abnormalities and escalate findings.
• Understanding of gynecologic anatomy, symptoms, and common clinical indications for ultrasound.
• Experience with PACS, radiology workflows, ultrasound documentation, and billing requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot ultrasound equipment within scope, maintain strong organization, and ensure patient follow-through.
• Clear communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Nice to have

• 3 or more years of women’s health ultrasound experience.
