Interventional Mammography Tech / Tracking Coordinator (Mammography)

Compensation: $15,000 full-time sign-on bonus. Relocation assistance available.

What you will do

• Oversee mammography tracking operations, including timely patient result notifications and follow-up.
• Document radiologist recommendations and maintain compliance with departmental protocols.
• Perform screening, diagnostic, and interventional mammography and bone densitometry exams.
• Assist radiologists with stereotactic and breast needle localization procedures while maintaining sterile technique.
• Train and support mammography tracking staff and provide performance feedback.
• Communicate compassionately with patients, staff, and providers in a patient-centered care environment.

Requirements

• ARRT (R)(M) certification required.
• Completion of a two-year AMA-approved radiology program or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of mammography experience, including at least 2 years in interventional breast biopsy.
• Knowledge of ACR guidelines, MQSA and FDA standards, and breast pathology terminology.
• Proficiency with RIS, PACS, and Microsoft applications.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain composed in stressful or emotionally charged situations.

Nice to have

• 3D mammography certification.
• Prior supervisory experience.
