Clinical Care Technician, CCT (36 hrs/week) - Medical ICU

Location: Tufts Medical Center; onsite clinical role

Salary: $20.12–$25.15 per hour

hirify.global operates a medical center with a 10-bed Medical ICU providing continuous monitoring and advanced critical-care support.

What you will do

• Assist registered nurses with direct patient care and delegated clinical tasks.
• Support activities of daily living, mobility, positioning, comfort measures, and patient safety.
• Collect, document, and communicate clinical data, specimens, and patient-care findings.
• Prepare rooms and equipment for admissions, transfers, procedures, and discharges.
• Transport or accompany patients, provide sitter support, answer call lights, and perform hourly rounding.
• Perform 12-lead EKGs, connect monitoring equipment, clean wounds after nurse assessment, and maintain biomedical equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to read, write, and understand medical terminology.
• Ability to lift up to 30–35 pounds, turn patients, and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, computer, and confidentiality skills.
• Three 12-hour shifts on rotating days and overnights, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Nice to have

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) certification.
• Completion of Nursing Fundamentals in an accredited nursing program.
• One year of experience as a Nursing Assistant, Patient Care Assistant, Critical Care Technician, or Patient Care Technician.
• Acute-care experience.
