Senior Director of Service Delivery (Logistics)

Location: Chicago, IL; hybrid schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Travel up to 20% is required for customer meetings, training, implementations, and executive business reviews.

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual performance incentive.

What you will do

• Lead and develop Service Delivery leaders supporting multiple customer accounts.
• Own delivery strategies, customer governance, service-level commitments, and executive escalations.
• Build customer success strategies that improve retention, satisfaction, profitability, and long-term growth.
• Establish operational KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, data governance, and reporting controls.
• Lead continuous improvement, automation, digital transformation, and scalable workflow initiatives with Product and Technology teams.
• Support customer implementations and transitions while coaching leaders and strengthening accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree required, with an MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in the transportation or logistics industry, including 5+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.
• 6+ years of experience with Infios or another Transportation Management System.
• Experience with transportation modes including small parcel, TL, LTL, partial, flatbed, and intermodal.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, customer service, communication, carrier relationship, and customer relationship skills.
• Basic experience creating and maintaining Excel reports and business intelligence dashboards.
