Senior Analyst – Revenue Accounting Operations (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid role in Lexington, Massachusetts, United States; employees are expected to work from the office at least two days per week.

Salary: $84,000–$126,000 base salary per year, plus benefits and possible incentive plans.

What you will do

• Act as a strategic partner to Sales and facilitate accurate, timely order approval.
• Review contracts, purchase orders, professional services proposals, and related documentation for compliance and accurate financial-system records.
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end revenue accounting close activities, including reconciliations, schedules, and reporting.
• Resolve complex cross-functional discrepancies across Sales, Deal Desk, Service Delivery, Accounts Receivable, and Finance.
• Lead revenue-cycle process and control improvements while managing workflows across NetSuite and Salesforce.
• Apply AI and agentic tooling to contract review, reconciliations, audit preparation, accounting research, and revenue operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Revenue Accounting Operations, Order Management, or a comparable accounting or finance role.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and hands-on experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or comparable ERP and CRM systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial or reporting analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, prioritization, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting SOX compliance, internal controls, or internal and external audits.
• Experience leading process improvements and mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior team members.
