FPGA Manager (Radar)

Location: Onsite in Seattle, WA, United States; travel required approximately 10% of the time.

Salary: $220,000–$270,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead and grow the FPGA team responsible for electronic hardware and firmware for air-to-air radar.
• Own the maturation of engineering processes while balancing execution with formal DO-254 verification.
• Develop and execute technical roadmaps, manage priorities, and coordinate with adjacent engineering teams.
• Support radar system integration and flight testing.
• Build, develop, and empower a high-performing team focused on reliable, robust, and certifiable radar systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of professional FPGA development experience with VHDL or Verilog.
• 3+ years of technical leadership or people management experience.
• Experience with complex systems where hardware and software intersect.
• Ability to work onsite in Seattle, WA, and travel approximately 10% of the time.
• Ability to satisfy U.S. export-control access requirements and provide documentation establishing U.S. person or non-U.S. person status.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling teams and maturing development processes in a high-growth environment.
• Hands-on experience with radar algorithms, radar signal processing, radar integration, and testing.
• Experience taking hardware products from prototype through deployment in service.
• Experience across the full lifecycle of a DO-254 Level A/B certification program.
