Director, FP&A (AdTech)

Location: Menlo Park or San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $216,000–$298,080 USD annually for Region A; other U.S. location-based ranges are $205,200–$283,176 for Region B and $194,400–$268,272 for Region C.

What you will do

• Own and standardize annual planning, long-range planning, and rolling forecast cycles across business units.
• Partner with HR, Legal, Finance, IT, and Marketing on G&A budgeting, headcount planning, spend management, and variance analysis.
• Build financial models and analyses for strategic initiatives, investment decisions, prioritization, and executive or board-level discussions.
• Identify business risks, opportunities, cost drivers, and investment trade-offs across near-, mid-, and long-term horizons.
• Improve planning models, systems, automation, data integrity, and reporting in partnership with Accounting and Finsys.
• Lead and develop FP&A talent while scaling people, processes, and systems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, consulting, investment banking, private equity, or related analytical roles.
• Prior Director-level or equivalent experience with enterprise-wide ownership and executive exposure.
• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis, planning, ROI assessment, and strategic prioritization.
• Experience influencing senior leaders through concise, data-driven storytelling.
• Strong understanding of planning systems and infrastructure; Adaptive Planning and NetSuite experience are preferred.
• Experience leading teams, mentoring talent, and managing change in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

• CPA, CFA, or MBA.
• AdTech, usage-based software, or high-growth technology experience.
• FP&A experience supporting a publicly traded company and its reporting and planning cycles.
